March 2010 – Symbient becomes a Technology Member of MF3 Center

MF3 Micro/Nano Fluidics Fundamentals Focus Center    http://www.inrf.uci.edu/mf3/ provides fundamental micro/nano fluidic research to develop standardized integration processes and technology that result in expedient commercialization of microfluidic products.   Headquartered at UC Irvine, the center includes several prominent researchers in and corporate members in the area of microfluidics.   Symbient was selected as a technology member because of our ability to convert complex microfluidic concepts into low cost, reliable and manufacturable products.    We have recently contributed our expertise to a Dr. Elliot Hui’s team toward a Gates Foundation Grant for development of point of care diagnostic platforms for developing nations.
