  • Work with scientists to develop a proprietary method of isolating RNA from a sample

  • Specify, develop and fabricate semi-automated equipment necessary to ensure repeatability of the protocol

  • This project is an example of our experience in the area of test method development

  • Protocol involves capture and separation using magnetic particles requiring optimization of magnetic field performance and geometry

  • Reagent steps required mixing, metering and aspiration of very small volumes
